The Interstate "Car Transport" Trailer

Built by Interstate Trailer Manufacturing. It has tandem 3500# E-Z Lube axles with brakes on all wheels. Built with 2 x 5 Tubing, treated wood, or diamond plate steel deck, (your choice)  Ramps made from 2 x 2 Square tubing for strength, but still light enough to easily handle and store under the deck. Deck measures 14', 16' or 18' long, and 82" between the fenders, PLUS a extra 2 1/2 feet "dove tail on the back which slopes down to allow for a easy load angle. It has a rub rail down both sides for chain binder or strap attachment, PLUS has 4 heavy duty D rings at each corner! It has a Fulton 2 5/16", 12,000 pound ball coupler with safety chains and battery break away system.

Also, available, for those hauling trucks, or heavy cars, equipmet, etc, is a upgrade to 10,000 pound axles. Here are some of the standard features:

82" between the fenders (102" over all width)
30" beavertail with a 6 inch drop.
Constructed of 2 x 5 Structural TUBING frame. All cross members on 16 inch centers
ST 250 75 R 15 tires (Load range C) on White powder coated wheels.
(ST225 75 R 15 Load range D tires on the 10,000# axle option)
4 wheel electric brakes (both axles, not just one)

Slide out ramps that store under the trailer, made from 2 inch square tubing.

ALL sealed lights, front side and back
All wiring in conduit, all openings for wire sealed with RTV silicone
7 way round "RV" style sealed plug
4 "D -Rings welded at each corner for attaching binders or straps
8 stake pockets down the sides for more attachment points
2 5/16" Fulton A frame hitch coupler

The paint used on these trailers (So important here in the "Salt Belt"!) is a PPG two part epoxy paint. The trailers are acid washed, primed and painted. As you know, the best paint (or powered coat) in the world, wont stick to dirty rusty steel. click here to see the steps taken to finish this trailer!  The paint system from PPG is warranted for two full years!  That's right even the paint carries a warranty! Now, all that sounds good, and believe me, it is, but what cant be listed is the attention to detail, and craftsmanship these trailer have.
