Heavy Duty Interstate Equipment trailer

Look, you are spending a lot of money on a trailer. Don't buy something that will look like junk, and give you fits in one or two years. This trailer carries a full three year warranty, even the paint carries a two year warranty (as that of other builders!) so it will still be looking good, and be problem free for years!

Why do the other builders keep building trailers that don't last? Because you keep buying them!

What will catch your attention, is something I cant really type up- the attention to detail given these trailers, the quality of workmanship, and the fit and finish make you proud to own one!  They are built right here in the midwest at Interstate Mfg. in Michigan, by a company that has been building trailers (both enclosed and open) for 27 years!  Anyway, If you are in the market for a heavy duty equipment trailer, I suggest you look at other trailers first, then come and look at these. You will be amazed! Both at the prices, and the quality, I promise!

A few of the "standard" features of this trailer:

Treated wood deck, from top quality 2 x 8 green treated wood (not seconds!)
Main frame from 6 inch channel
Cross beams from 3 inch channel every 16 inches
24 inch beavertail standard
Beaver tail covered in treated wood. Wood actually beveled at the edges to keep from catching while loading.
Beaver tail supported underneath with 6 inch channel placed right where tires would roll up onto the trailer.
Fold up Heavy duty 4 inch channel ramps, with 3 inch angle iron rungs, standard.
Electric brakes on ALL wheels.
Dexter "E-Z Lube" hub bearings on all axles.
Heavy duty axle assemblies with slipper springs with spring load equalizer.
1/8 inch thick (.125") tread plate fenders. (these things are so sturdy, the can double as a work bench!)
A front safety rail is standard, and made of 3 inch channel iron.
4 heavy duty "D-Rings" mounted at each corner to attach binders and chains, or straps to.

The paint used on these trailers (So important here in the "Salt Belt"!) is a PPG two part epoxy paint. The trailers are acid washed, primed and painted. As you know, the best paint (or powered coat) in the world, wont stick to dirty rusty steel. click here to see the steps taken to finish this trailer!  The paint system from PPG is warranted for two full years!  That's right even the paint carries a warranty! Ask other builders, even powder coat, about their finish warranty!  You are spending a lot of money, make it last!

The main deck is 24" off the ground, 80" wide and 18' long in addition to a 30" dove tail.  The attention to detail on this trailer is incredible. All wiring in SEALED conduit, all lights are sealed type. the deck is made of #1 treated 2 x 8 lumber, press fit, and screwed with two screws every 48", the axles are easy lube, the frame is primed and painted before the deck is installed.:
