We tapped into the White wire with the Tan tracer for the brake light signal (red wire is from the controller)

We ran a power feed wire from the 10mm main power stud nut on the fuse panel under the hood, to a 15 amp circuit breaker we mounted in the fuse panel, then out to the firewall. We drilled a small hole in the firewall (and sealed with silicone when done) to pass the power wire into the dash area to power the controller.

Picture above is a view from under the truck, looking at the drivers side, behind the bumper cover. We found a rubber grommet that allowed us to pass all thew trailer LIGHT wires through, from the light converter we mounted under the plastic panel in the rear cargo area (follow light hook up instructions).

We used a heavy wire to pull the light wires down
